I am a fellow of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I completed most of my training at The Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth – both large women’s hospitals caring for women with a wide range of medical conditions. I currently work as a part-time staff specialist at The Royal Hospital for Women and as a visiting medical officer at Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Randwick, and am also a Visiting Medical Officer at St Vincent’s public hospital in Darlinghurst.

My final years of training focused on complex obstetric and gynaecological care. I spent a year learning about complex surgery and management of abnormal cervical screening tests with the Gynaecological Oncology team at the Royal Hospital for Women. I then spent the final 2 years of my training refining my skills in complex pregnancy care – in particular – in preterm birth prevention (and cervical cerclage insertion), perinatal loss and medical complications of pregnancy. I also worked with the placenta accreta team in Perth gaining additional complex obstetric surgery experience.

I have admitting rights at Prince of Wales Private Hospital and The Royal Hospital for Women.

I am an adjunct lecturer at The University of Notre Dame in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and provide interactive and engaging teaching to medical students. I also am dedicated to junior doctor wellbeing and enjoy supporting doctors at various stages of their careers.

I have spent most of my life in Sydney and if I’m not at the hospital, you can usually find me with the sand between my toes at the beautiful beaches of the Eastern Suburbs!
